helloooo kiddees! I've heard that the "transition phase" that is recomended on the back of GH 3 pt isn't needed. You can just go from feeding them thier "veg" mix to thier "bloom" mix....? I've ALSO heard 2 totally different things: that you make the switch to the transition nutes AFTER you put the plants under 12/12.......or do you have to make the switch to the transition nutes 4 or 5 days BEFORE they go into 12/12...... man it's nice in Northern California right now! hope it's nice wherever you are on this fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine TUE!!
Hi CMD420... I run a modified version of the Lucas Formula and this is what I do. The Lucas formula says that you veg at 5/10 and flower at 8/16 (micro/bloom ratio per gallon of RO). The week before I switched to 12/12. I changed the Lucas Formula from 5/10 to 6.5/13, then went to 8/16 when I started into flowering. MY reasoning was to more slowly transition the nutrient strength from the weaker to the stronger. I also know that many (most?) others have gone right from veg to flower strength without any problems. So.. you can do it either way. Like most things in this world, there is more than one 'right way' to do something... and many, many 'wrong ways'! Good Luck!
