What's up everybody. I have a question, alright, here is a picture of the HiSi diffused bowl im talking about (the one on the left with the 5 little holes). Does this truly prevent ash from going into your tube? Just wondering if this is true, or if I will just be dissapointed. For some reason, I have a straight HiSi tube, along with my high-end PH(x) HD w/ Honeycomb, 2 dome Percs, splash guard, & 2 ice pinches. My HiSi stays clean with a low-end ash-catcher, but my PH(x) doesn't stay clean with it. I bought a Inline AshCatcher attachment for my PH(x), it rips like a beast, yet still gets dirt. So confused...
It's Gunna always get dirty, get a carbon filter
This^^^ Even with a carbon filter and an ashcatcher you will still eventually need to clean it, just not as often.
Ya if your wanting to keep your tube cleaner your best investment would be carbon filter. It'll keep like 98% of shit out of your piece, and give you a much smoother hit. I could never go back to not having a carbon filter.
Hmm, looks like the guy at my head-shop doesn't know shit. What exactly does a Carbon Filter do bro? I truly appreciate all the responses!
Do I have to fill it with charcoal? What else can I fill it with...? edit: Im liking this 1, it has a bult-in screen. So do I just insert this Carbon Filter ino my Inline Ashcatcher & then put my bowl into the top? http://www.ioffer.com/i/glass-on-glass-carbon-filter-14-mm-with-built-in-screen-206876256
Ya you put it in the ashcatcher and ur bowl in it. Id hit up smileyagent on here and see if he has what you need, i have one and it has a built in disk and its constructed very well for very reasonable price.
