Hey GC what's up. I just started my new grow and already have my first seedling of California snow and waiting on a white widow to lose its shell and root. I'm using CFL's for lighting and I just have some questions about lighting for when the plant is in the seedling stage. First, I know it's preferred to use CFL's when the plant is young as to not use too much light/heat. Now, I'm wondering how much light in watts is optimum for seedlings? Also, how far away in inches should the light be from the plants? Currently, mine is about a foot or so away. Lastly, I want to know when I should be adding more lights. I'm using one 26w 6500k CFL and a 60 watt 3500k CFL right now. I just added the 60w 3500k a second ago. Here's a pic of my California snow baby, thanks for reading let me know!!
