Question About Rolling Joints With Filter

Depends on if you roll by hand or use a rolling machine / device. a regular rolling paper can roll a joint of varying thickness depending on how full you pack it. Generally larger diameter tips and filters form a splint of sorts to roll you a fatter joint.

Certain rolling machines or devices like the futrolla are designed for certain sized filters / papers etc.

If you are talking about the length of a joint, thats where you get into regular vs king sized or other papers, but generally pick the tip or filter size that will correspond to how thick a J you wanna roll.

Can I ask why you don't make your own filters/roaches out of cardboard/thick paper man? You can even buy boxlets of raw tips to use as roaches/filters

 

I've used them for years now... Mainly because they're easy to roll with/to shape & u can cut them down to any size u need

Damn they've gone up in price dude.. I had the same thing 13 odd years ago for tobacco & the empties cost £1 & the filler/machine was £1 man I feel old & I'm not 30 yet lmaooooo

 

Than those filters look like they should fit, a lot of manufactuers use their own cute names but these size charts from back in the day have never let me down


Check the crease and adhesive strip, single, 1 1/4, and king all typically roll using the same standard 1 1/4 tip (just need to make sure your roller is as long or longer to size paper you want to use.

Double on the other hand if you rotate it 90 degrees is only as long as a 1 1/4, but you can roll it much fatter (but only if you use a double sized tip to make it that fat or hand roll).

Bresnweed above posted the tips you roll yourself, which also allows you to change thickness of the joint once you get good enough at it.

Once you start getting into bigger sized joints than whats above, many manufacturers will have special cones or tips just for those sizes as below.



Generally the staff at any decent head shop can also set you up with most of this stuff, I'd be leery of buying from anywhere the staff can't tell you at least as much as I have about joints (because what I don't know could fill a warehouse)

 

If do this right cigarette tubes will work .
Treat the tubes like your filling a cone.
Fill the tube full weed then pinch the open end of the tube and shake it where the weed wants to pack toward the filter side of the tube .
when get the tube packed twist the end so the weed will not fall out .

The filter ,,, From what I heard cigarette filters ,, takes away some the THC and you dont get as high as normal.
I would cut half to three quarters of the filter off .

im a cheap bastard,i use the joint to filter my tar as your calling it, it is resin in my books always have been,but the joint fliters the resin and when my doob gets too about 1/2 inch long ,it is saved for really bad pain days and smoked, it goes into a filing system we old heads always use to do , when company would come over we break out the flower box,in that box be 5 jars , each time you smoked a doob it went into the jars,so first gen was fresh flower then it went to first gen jar when you was done and so on all the way to fifth gen roaches,by the time you get to fifth gen you had resin to smooth onto your hash or if you didnt have hash ,you rolled up fresh flower and smeared it on the outside of the fresh joint .
like i said we didnt really care what folks thought and we all knew the shit was illegal and we smoked at home, you could always tell when someone was cool just by looking at the sleves of the shirt or the bottom of the shirt for resin ,then you knew they werent popo.
then you always had the veteran that just walked about with it on there lips ,hard core i dont give a shit about popo hahahhaha
