Question about PM

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by bongrip101, Sep 25, 2018.

  1. Growing outdoors in Mid-Michigan, very humid and easy for PM to spread. Had a mild case on a few leaves/bud sites so I treated with the lowest recommended dose of Green Cure and seemed to work great. I go and check it a few days later and where I've sprayed I now have odd colored leaves and buds. Wondering if those sites need removal. 20180925_124146.jpg 20180925_124141.jpg 20180925_124121.jpg 20180925_124205.jpg

  2. they do not 'need' removed, but you can remove them,

    man what bad luck....
try keeping her dryer and get more air circulation if possible to prevent mold, mildew, and rot.

  3. I removed it honestly, it was less than like 5% of the bud and not taking chances. Hoping nothing spreads too severely for 3 weeks!

  4. don't know your situation, but an outdoor fan blowing on them gently when it is damp outside like after rain or morning dew will keep the dreaded fungi at bay,

if that is not an option, cutting shrubs and bushes down in the area (with in 20 feet, 6 meters) can improve mother natures air circulation.

  5. Well I consider myself a guerrilla grower so I think removing a little of the surrounding thorns and branches is a great idea for more air circulation,I try to shake off dew and rain when possible. Thanks for answering
