Hey, I have spider mites, and I've heard of making insecticidal soap by taking organic castile soap and mixing 3 drops per quart of water.

I was wondering if Dr. Bronner's Magic Castile Soap would be proper?

Also, would this be a safe alternative to some nasty chemical spray for my plants?

Ps. When using this, do you spray it on your plant, or do you water your plant with the mixture, I'm assuming you spray it, but i just want to make sure.
