Question about indoor lights

  1. I know this may not be the smartest question, but i recently grew 3 ft tomatoe plants in doors and got tomatoes. Would that light be sufficient enough for my plants.

  2. how are we supposed to know if you dont tell us what kind of light it is?

  3. im not to sure. they were my mothers lights and i cant seem to find anything on the bulb to indicate what it is other then the wattage. They do look like floro but are alot brighter. i also cant seem to find them anywhere in any store. i am a awesome gardner and thought i would attempt the indoor thing during the winter. and i was successfull with tomatoes. i do know the lights and hood are old but never used.

  4. Then I guess it would have to fall on your previous experience.

Were the tomatoe plants healthy? Or were they a spindly waste of time?

Then plants were very healthy and great fruit. strong, thick stem. i dont know but the plants i have seem to look ok. they are just over 1 week after germination and the nodes are close together so it doesnt look like they are not getting enough light.

  6. is there any name or serial/model number on the lights? you can google the numbers and most likely find your light, or one very similar
