Right so here's the question I've got a i have an automatic growing so an indica/ruderlaris mix and i just wanted to ask what's the flowering behavior of an indica. I read somewhere ages ago that one doesn't look like it's doing much then has a growth spurt towards the end of flowering is that the indica or is that sativa's? cos at the moment my plant is flowering but doesn't look like like it's doing much, so I'm hoping the bud sites will swell up nicely in the next few weeks. And also i was reading the seed packet is 17% THC good or bad? I know nothing about THC levels. Thanks And also i've got two new blueberry auto's that i hope will be done in time for x-mas are they indica or sativa crosses ? and does anyone know what's the rough THC level on them ? (they only came in a zip bag so i don't have a lot of info on them)
Well whatever the breeder lists the THC levels at, that is merely a possible THC level. (it is mostly marketing) View it as more of a possibility, because reaching higher levels of THC depend on so many things like lights, nutes, experience, etc. 17% THC is pretty good, definitely not a weak smoke. To give you an example, a really potent strain would have 20-25% THC or some even greater. So, the breeder is claiming to have medium - high level of THC relative to the rest of the market. However, because of the nature of ruderalis & Indica's, id care to wager that a lot of that THC% is CBD and CBN, or couch-lock stone. To your original question, Indicas typically are short and squat, not very tall or stretchy relative to Sativas. Broad leaves, and thick dense colas are some of the defining characteristics of an indica dominant strain. More stoney than soaring high... Lastly blueberry are something like 80/20 Indica/stavia, and expect anything crossed with ruderalis to make the result more couch locky and stoned (not "up" highs like sativas).
first grow I have ruderlaris indica growing outside in uk summer for about 3 months, I also have a tent and cfl 250 My mum seem convinced they will bud outside I on the other hand feel they need the cfl which of the following would you recommend? P.S could harsh conditions alter plants sex and how many hours light would you give?. cheers x
A ruderalis indica grows much different then an indica. I also found that it was normally around 13 to 15 percent compared to my Blueberry Kush that was 22.5 percent when tested. I like the yield per watt out of it but my patients complained about the stone. Just not good enough after they were used to smoking the blueberry kush.
