Question about Hydroponic buds

    I live in Austin, TX. I have had at least 10-15 dealer/growers that offered me some "dro", so I said yes to all of them (all these guys had hydroponic setups that I saw to confirm it was legit). When I smoked this stuff, it had a distinctive, metallic taste unlike any other bud I've tasted and was pretty potent. The question is, "Does all hydroponically grown marijuana taste the same?"

    I'm pretty sure it depends what strain you have, but then again i'm not speaking from experience.
