question one is a 100 to a 150 watts good for 2 plants. 2)is it easy to wire a ballst? 3) best place to buy one? i have about 50 dollars to spend on a ballst i've seen a few for under 50 at some web sites. then ther are some that are really expensive. but i'm just growing for personal smoke. any insite would be greatly appreciated. any body that has experince in this.
You can get one of those all-in-one lights. The ballast is built into the reflector. I thought about trying to wire some flood lights when I first started, but figured that would be a pain. Save up a bit more, you could find a light that size for just a bit more, ready to be plugged in and used.
Unless you run across a "buddy type" deal and you only have $50 startup cash.... I would suggest CFL lights untill you get more cash.
