Question about halter moniters and smokeing...

    I have to have a halter moniter put on today, and i'll be wearing it till monday.
    most likely the smoking going to increase my heart rate, and i know it'll show up on the monitor, but would it show up the same as say; running? 
     
     
    to simplify my question: if smoke a joint and my incresed heart rate shows up will i be able to tell the doctor that i went for a run/jog or did some exercise? or will they know thats not the case?
