I am seting up my epp and flow system and I have a few questions about how to plant. The tray is 3 1/2 Ft X 3 1/2 Ft and I would like to know what would be better. to fill the whole tray with clay pebbles and just place my clones in? Or should I plant them in pots and place the pots in the tray? If I use this method, what will keep the pots standing upright?

  2. these are a couple of threads i had started on my ebb and flow. it's the botanicare 3x3, so it's actually closer to 4x4.

if this is going to be in a closet or anything that will only allow you to get at it from one of the 4 sides, then don't put more than like 4 plants in there or else by the time you're flowering then you won't be able to reach in the back of the table to do any maintenance, etc...

  3. oh, and once your plants have enough weight for you to start worrying about them falling, simply tie the stems that are holding the biggest buds up with some twine. it will give it much needed support later in the flowering stage.

  4. The roots on my plants now are crazy, will the roots grow out of the bottom of the pots? and if they do, is that ok? if they don't will they have enough room to grow and allow the plant to flourish?
