I have a DWC bucket, and i was wondering when i start out my clones how far up i should put the water, and I'm not exactly sure how its supposed to work. Am i supposed to leave water in the bucket and the roots go into the water? Or would that be to much water for them and just leave it right under the roots not touching and have the bubble disk's bubbles splash water on to the roots? I'm a newbie at growing, the bucket I'm using is this http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/product.php?xProd=47&xSec=24 If you could please help me out it would be extremely appreciated, Thanks.
welcome to the bubble/rumple bucket coalition ahhahha. untill the roots are estabished in the netted cup, you want the bottom of the cup covered in water. then if your using a 5 gallon bucket. you drop the water down to about 3.5 gallons. the roots should be in the water till "the day you harvest' i'm sure some one will come up with a better response so good luck and have fun
