Question about cracks.

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by connbren, Dec 7, 2010.

  1. Yes i searched first and my situation is not covered. My bro broke my bong and i am trying to fix it. There is a big crack and if i use Caulk it will hit the water. If it touches the water is it toxic? Im just trying to not pay $300 for another bong...

Thanks in advance for any help.

  2. nah, your probably fine. if you use an adhesive that is already non toxic, as long as you dont have any near a flame (as to not breathe in any combusted chemicals) and you dont plan on drinking the bong water after, youre probably safe. i would still buy a new bong though imo. just have your brother pay for it since hes the one who broke it, then glue your old one together and give it to him for christmas hahahaha. ;)

  3. Haha yeah, it'll be a good christmas. :D

  4. Use marine epoxy to hold the crack together for now. But if you have a good brother he should be willing to go in with you for a nice piece for xmas. Shop around for some xmas deals.
