hey gonna give my first grow a try finally and i still need to do research. my question is, without spending the money on a HPS, can i grow the entire plant with CFLs? I'll only be growing 1-2 plants. I know HPS is overall a better investment but i dont have the money at this time really and im just wonderin if anyone else out there grows with CFLs. If so, how they turn out?
cfl's will work fine for the whole grow. use cool for the veg and warm for the flower. they will grow slower and probably be less potent but will still work fine.
kamel has a real good thread on cfl's take a look at it, it will help u out a lot... look at the pics under my name i am also on my first grow and using cfl's.. good luck man..
