Quarter pound of Regs or ounce of dank? cannabutter

    Hey guys.

    I've messed around with edibles just a few times before but just with oil and a half ounce of regs every time. the Brownies I made with the oil were fairly decent, at the least , appealing to my friends who have aten them. Personally I would need 2 or 3 for desired high. Anyway, I've been wanting to try making cannabutter and now have a higher budget and better conenctions to do so.

    My main concern is whether I should be spending 300-350 on a quarter pound of regs for cannabutter or 200 on an ounce of dank. Probably some nice fresh Grand daddy purple or Master kush. Depending on what is available.

    Another thing is I would be doing this at a friends house so time is definitely a factor . I would probably have 5 hours max.

    Also, what is my butter sticks to flower ratio looking like. Anything I should know about making butter?

    If I can't obtain a qp would about 2 ounces suffice? And be better than the one ounce of dank? it would be around the same price too so that just leaves the question, 2 ounces of regs or 1 ounce of dank at about the same price,

    how the fuck is a quarter pound 300 and an oz of dank 200. that must be really shitty weed. if its not schwag though and its actually just regs then GET THE QUARTER POUND ARE YOU CRAZY thats such a better deal. make 4x the cookies for 2x the price thats a damn good deal son

    if you really wanna do something awesome you could put the quarter pound through a coffee grinder and get like, 1/2 oz of dank keef then keep the other stuff for joints and blunts. you would have 112 grams of decent-ish weed to smoke too because thats not completely de keefing it. then just compress the keef into water hash or something then cook it up.

    Well regs in Nyc is fairly cheap. about 100/ oz so the 50-100 off would be wholesale discount. It's honestly not that bad either like i said half oz made decent brownies and I probably wasn't using the most efficient method. and dank price on oz is actually a good 50-100 extra depending where. Obviously the qp seems the best.

    BUUUUUUUUT. wouldn't the high from the dank be different & better?

    Should I substitute the dank oz for 2oz of regs at the same price if the qp isn't obtainable?

    yeah the difference between the regs and the danks isnt going to be that great unless its some schwag. i pay the same for regs and danks its just whatever my guy has. so get the 2 oz

    So I managed to get myself 3 o's for 200 since a guy I know wanted one for 100 and the q was 3.

    I also ran 1 O in some butter for about 4 hours the other day and did not like the results. I made myself some sugar cookies and hardly get a hit from them not to mention the butter tasted pretty bad. So with these 3 should i just put it in some oil instead? Would I do it all at the same time? Do I double boil or put it right on the stove?

    COCONUT OIL. it works so much better than butter, use the same recipe just substitute the oil instead of butter. It has alot more Saturated fat. When you buy it i will be a solid, but it melts quickly. Make the oil at your friends house, then bake with it at yours. There will be no smell. And of coarse buy the regs. Unless your buying from a dispensery, your dank is damaged and loses alot of potenency.
