Hey guys just been reading this article and it seems quite plausible. Just wondering what some of the more knowledgable minds think about it. Quantum Mechanics Implies That The Universe is a Computer Simulation
12 years old now and a bit out of date in some assumptions. I don't agree with his conclusions, particularly as his sole aim is to unify science, philosophy and religion, which can never happen. Quote: "...The arguments are drawn from philosophy and from the results of experiment. While the experiments discussed are not conclusive in this regard, they are found to be consistent with a computer model of the universe..." His idea is basically: "...if the maths is manipulated to produce some absurd result, the matter and energy somehow changes to behave in exactly that absurd manner to reflect the formula!..."
