QB96 heatsinks?

  1. I‘m trying to order more qb96s but the ones with the heatsinks are sold out and I can’t seem to find anywhere that sells those heatsinks? Or if anyone has an idea of when they will be restocked?

  3. What's weird is the 125mm Sstx heatsink is only supposed to be a 100 watt sink ?
    Go figure.

  4. Yea I had to order some 120mm fans for the heatsinks cause this last grow they were getting too hot to put my hand on. Just gotta figure out how I’m going to wire them up.

  5. How high do you run them. I only use around 90 watts each max on mine

  6. Probably around 140. I didn’t really know what I was doing or how high to run them but I’ll have more light, lux meter, and watt meter on my next grow so I’ll figure it out.

  7. Right. And HLG sells the 315 CMH replacement (single 96), running at 225w passively cooled, lol.

  8. Try the A/C Infinity 120mm 110v fans. Just plug em into a regular outlet,no wiring at all. A/C Infinity has a store on Ebay. Pretty cheap too. These are only 62cfm ,the high speed ones are out of stock atm,but I bet they'd work fine.

    Look at this on eBay

  9. Numbers must of come from Alaska

Dam I bought 6 120mm case fans already but if I don’t figure something out I’ll return them and get ac infinity. I just ordered the Ac infinity cloudline T8 hope it’s worth the dam money.

  10. I love all my ac Infinity gear. The inline fans are very nice.

  11. AC Infinity is now making the S8 and T8 with an EC motor( the older models also had an electronically commutated motor, just not as efficient) that has a max power draw of 110 watts.

I bought a T8 from Amazon advertised to have a 180 watt power draw last October. What I received was the even older 230 watt power draw model. I wasn't thrilled about that, and promptly returned the T8.

I hope you receive the newest, most efficient model available. There should be a small plate of metal on the model that tells you all the pertinent electrical characteristics. If you're not satisfied with the T8 and still want an 8 inch fan, the Terrabloom EC fans or Hyperfan are both more energy efficient than the S8 or T8.
