  1. some measurements and specs for those interested in diy qb120 lighting

    Qb120 specs

    HLG-240H-2100a driver per 4 boards

    250 watts draw

    2430ma

    (4) qb120’s per light

    24.15 volts per board

    58.68 watts per board

    2430(milliamps)x 24.15(volts)=56.68 watts per board

    Efficacy is 2.5 umoles/joule

    58.68 x 2.4 = 146.7ppf x 12 boards= 1760.4 ppf

***PPFD IS BASED ON 12 boards in 4x4***

    1760.4ppf / 1.6 sq/m (4x4) = 1100.25 ppfd

    65,000 lux at 12”

    1100.25 ppfd / 65,000 lux = .017 conversion factor

    *****RESULTS*****

***.017 conversion @ 250 watts Wall draw and 234.72 watts output (based on 2.5 umol/j***

    Ppf at 12” above canopy

    65,000 lux x .017= 1105 ppfd

    Ppf at 16” above canopy

    54,000 lux x .017= 918 ppfd

    Ppf at 20” above canopy

    39,500 lux x .017= 671 ppfd

  2. Awesome thanks for the specs do you think I could use 4 qb120s with a hlg120 driver in a 2x2x5 tent and have enough intensity? ( be running it max at 150watts during flower)
