I have been looking to upgrade my lighting and have been seeing a lot about LED lighting. I definitely like it as I don’t need to deal with a lot of heat. I am not sure whether I should go between QB or Blurple. The general consensus seems to be QB but why is that better? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
there are probably 1000 threads on here about why qbs are better.. Comes down to efficiency and light spectrum
More efficient, You need less wattage for per sq ft blurple you generally need 50w per sq ft, wheres QB's you could get away with 30, you get more bang for your buck, QB's run a bit cooler. If you decide on blurple look at true wattage vs advertised wattage.. Figure out your square footage of your grow area and go from there. Tons of comparison videos on you tube.
Yeah dont buy blurples mate. If you can't afford qb then just go for hps. Blurples are alright if you use them properly, ive got a few of them, they have their place but qb blow them out the water. You'll get double the yield and the quality is better.
