QB 288 heat concerns

  1. I’m about to purchase my first QB kit (288’s) and I heard the QB288s can get kinda hot. I’m using computer fans for exhaust, passive intake, and small desk fans to circulate air in 2ft tall x 2ft wide x 20 inches deep cabinet. I could use some info on QB288 temps (from folks who’ve use them in small spaces) or a little guidance on controlling temp with the set up described above. Thanks in advance Grasscity Fam!

  2. 4x4x8 room with 4” exhaust w/filter-passive intake from 72 degree room- same light and I stayed at 80-82 during the day when it was a hundred outside and dropped to 77 or so at night usually. Ran light 24-0.

  3. I have one on a 120w driver and a 96v2 on an 80w in a 2x2x4 and temps stay good

  4. Why 2 boards for that space?

You shouldn't need two and the extra heat that will come with it.

Also mounting the driver outside the tent/box would be helpful.
