I have spent the last few weeks slowly putting this room together from the ground up. With my limited height I chose to do a low profile nft/dwc system. My total height from the top of the PVC pipe to my maximum height before the light burns them is 40inches. Each plant will have 1ft^2 space. I have 4 seven foot long PVC pipes with seven 2.5" holes along each for a total of 28 plant sites. Right now I'm forced to use a 1000w MH but will eventually get 2 600w hps. My total growing area is 7'x4' so I'm hoping I've got enough light. I currently have Sour Diesel, Super Lemon Haze, Purple Haze, and Brand X. I will eventually do one strain at a time and do the SOG method. This isn't my first hydro set up but it is the biggest. My clones I have started today using a little Clonex when I made the cut and when I got home I threw them in my bubble cloner. This is my first grow journal and will be making updates when I can.I would love any tips or feedback. I have the pipes on a slope and water with Hesi nutes will be pumped into the highest one, flow through the entire system and back into the plastic tote. I am a little worried that the plants at the end of the pipes may not get the same amount of nutes the other plants get. If I have the entire thing level, about an inch of water is in the pipes. When I put the slope on it the water is very shallow. I'll have to play with the slope a bit and see what the plants like better. I will put some pics up in a day or so. Everything is set until I get some roots.
