PVC Bong

    Is it safe to smoke out of PCV pieces? Bong inparticularly.
    Not a bowl just the body of a bong.

    no no no! it is not safe at all. chemicals in pvc will turn into gas, very very bad for you don't do it!

    PVC easily melts even at low temperatures, 176F so even if your lighter is a good ways away it will still heat it to the point which it will release gas's. And PVC gas's I believe can cause death in small amounts.

    I have done it several times....Dunno didn't notice anything wrong or melting.. I just smoke glass now though.


    But yeah obviously the PVC stands for VINYL and Chlorine... Both not very safe in gas form.

    as long as the bowl/heat is far enough away from the pvc body then you'll be fine

    pvc tastes particularly shitty though
