  1. I know using plastic in a run is no good. I was curious if anyone had a link or website that explains using plastic/pvc is bad? My buddy is using pvc pipes to make his and said thats how everyone on youtube is making it. He wants to see it somewhere other then just ppl saying it in posts. I just want to show him so he doesnt end up poisoning himself.

  2. Butane reacts with plastic and thats not good. Just get a glass extractor or a stainless steel baster. I mean it prob will work but why do that when extractors are pretty cheap. I dont have a link im just saying. Idk why he would think pvc was good.

  5. PVC contains a compound called VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer) Which is known by the EPA to cause liver cancer. Any product which even slightly degrades or dissolves PVC (ie. Butane) will release VCM into the product.

Source: Worked in a PVC piping factory, and was educated about the dangers of working with PVC.
