Yeah but it's wasteful, like pressed kief, it'll stay lit and keep smoking. I ONLY use one of my 2 hash pipes, or I'll paint the hash on rolling papers.

I do it all the time since I haven't gotten around to buying a nail yet. You have to keep the fire on it, it will flame up and burn much longer than the weed so don't pull to quick or you'll waste it.

 

I like to melt the hash before I hit it, it just keeps the hash even on the grass

You don't waste oil on bowls. That's like buying premium gas and using it in a chainsaw.

 

You can put oil on a bowl pack, but you need to wait a little while for the oil to dry.

I say just smoke the bowl, save the ash, then take an oil toke. Use the ash to hold the oil so it doesn't get sucked through.

Yeah, that's how I smoke hash oil when I don't have a dome or dabber to do it with. Either just melt it onto a bowl, or just hold a flame over the bowl for a little while longer than normal.

This won't waste any oil, and it will work fine. You start by vaping the oil, holding the lighter just above it. This will just melt it onto the bud, and you can basically hit it like normal from there (although I wouldn't quite torch the bowl yet). I do this all the time, no hash wasted.

 

Personally, as someone who smokes alot of oil, I kind of think its a waste as well on top of weed. Lighter doesnt burn as hot , doesnt fully light the oil. Just kind of gets sucked through most of the time.

 

Assuming you have a screen, I don't see how it could get sucked through. If the oil is on top of the bud, and you light the oil correctly so that it melts, without burning too much bud under, it should work fine. The oil will melt onto the bud, and you keep hitting it (not applying direct flame unless you have to) until it's done. I'm a kinda xonk-ed out, so it's possible I'm not right, but I'm pretty sure it works with this method tho lol
