Hey guys, I'm in NorCal and I was wondering what would happen if I got a clone and put it outside in the sun (I think we have 15 hours of light right now). Would it be ok? Also, I've heard of a premie clone, what's the deal with those? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Put it in the shade for a few days. Light cycle is fine to go out now but you need to acclimate them to the sun by introducing slowly Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I know you can't answer if this will work 100% of the time... But so I got a few clones yesterday, transplanted them to pots and put them in the shade. However, my dog pulled one clone out and I found if barely attached to a small piece of rockwool. I put it back in the soil... Is it possible for a clone like this to reestablish itself outside? What are your thoughts, maybe just leave it in the shade a little longer? Thanks!!! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
yeah I'd leave nit in the shade for while. Just watch it. They are weeds and can handle quite a bit of stress and sometimes they turn out to be your biggest monster plant good luck!!
Well I just got home and she's wilted over unfortunately... I sprayed a little water on her since she prob doesn't have roots to get water.... Dunno what to say lol. Bummer. You ever seen a wilted plant like that come back? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thanks for the positive thoughts! Haha. So should I continue misting it with water? Or just keep the soil moist? Anything else you would do? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Did it perk back up? Been 2hrs should look good by now I wouldn't most it to much just water it like normal
15 hours is good but I would give them 2 more hours too be on the safe side. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Ive put my clones out. 2 girl scout cookies and a grand daddy purple. The GDP didnt like being put in the direct sun light after 2 days moved it to a shader spot and now after a few days its thriving again. The plants are pretty resilient Sent from my SCH-I545 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
