Putting ashes in the soil

  1. If i put ashes in the soil, will it help increase the amount of thc in the plant?

  2. lol i dont know about this one , have you just finished watching how high or something?..like isaid though..i dont know

  3. I'm pretty sure I've read that ashes will make your PH way out of wack.

  4. Ashes can be used to amend the soil, but they will not increase the amount of THC in the bud. Nothing can increase the THC content..it's genetically predetermined. Whether you grow it too it's full capacites is in your hands though . Depends on growing conditions, maturity etc.

  5. The plant is genetically predisposed to having more or less THC, but you definitely can increase the content with proper conditions of lighting, ferts, humidity, soil, etc.

Some people are genetically predetermined to carry extra weight in their ass but they can lose weight if they exercise and eat right. Some people are genetically predetermined to be muscular but they don't get to the Olympics without intense training.

It is a combination of nature and nurture.

  6. I believe wood ash (you didn´t specify which type of ash) can supply additional P and K, which are needed during flowering.

  7. Maybe so, but hardwood ash raises pH, so I would advise steering clear of it as a general soil amendment or fertilizer.

  8. Moinkay, if it is wood ashes, leaf ashes, or anything organic like limbs, grass, leaves etc... it will help out your soil , probably not a huge help, but it wont hurt it at all. It will help make your leaves a healthy dark green and support strong stems. I plant my plants on a burning area i burnt wood last year:hello:
