ok so my health teacher is this staunch uptight really really anti drug woman and were on the unit about depressants and hallucinogens. so she starts talking about lsd and about how back a few years ago when she taught at another school someone was putting acid on jolly ranchers and selling it to elementary school kids for 75 cents (so she says, i think total bs) and then she said that a boy died. so being the curious fellow i am raised my hand and asked how assuming he committed suicide under the influence but she says "he overdosed" and i respond "um i dont think so, nearly no one has ever died from lsd toxicity" and then the topic got over to pot where i said no one has ever died from it and replies "if you eat it you can die" and that really got me angry so i said "no one in the history of the world has EVER died from marijuana EVER" and she responds "well you can just keep on smoking it" and i proudly declared i happily would, then she gave me this speil afterwards about how im going to get lung cancer because it deminishes your immune system blah blah and then i said about how people use marijuana for spiritual purposes like with meditation and what not and the same with psychedelics and she just shut up, ah it was a good day, and there was a food fight in lunch right afterwards. really great day.

When my health teacher would talk shit about weed I just wanted to stand up and start telling her the facts but there were some people in that class who I didn't want to know I smoked so I'm just like, "nah bra."
Damn how many years were you held back Health class was so much fun freshman year, I guess when the football coach is your teacher you don't really have to do shit. "People" even used to slang herb in that class right in front of his eyes.
i bought my first sack in the middle of my health/drug ed class freshman year of HS. 5 bucks for a joint. i still remember. shit, 6 yrs later i still hit that kid up haha
my health teacher in highschool claimed he went to 311 concerts, and says he never smoked marijuana, thats the worst lie ever.
I hate nothing more than a teacher throwing out one sided information about drugs. My response to bullshit like that in highschool was always "If you've never tried it, dont fucking talk about it."
WHen I was in highschool, I had an English III teacher that was one of the best teachers Ive ever had, and also one of the smartest people Ive ever met. Well, I was out of highschool for about a year, and I *gave* some weed to this girl, I was at her house delivering it, and it turned out her DAD was my old english teacher! AND the weed was for him! So I ended up matching a bowl with him before I left. Was pretty fuckin cool.
^^That's awsome man haha, I recently saw my favourite teacher from high school cruisin in his truck smoking a blunt the other day. It was obvious he used to be the hippie type but it was cool to still see him blazin away.
i had to take health for one quarter each year of high school. even senior year. same shit every year.
My health class was fun. There was like, an openly stoney guy, and the teacher made fun of him.. I think he was a senior. Anyways, I didn't have any desire to argue with the teacher. Probably because he lectured for like half of the class and then for the second half let us do whatever we wanted. I got my 'bullshit' on.
most of what you learn about pot in health class is bullshit i remember being told that there is a chance of needing amputation in your limbs due to bad circulation if u smoke weed. the whole way they got the drug illigalized back in about 30's or 40's was my lieing saying stuff like its a gateway drug and making movies having actors say it made them want to kill themselves. dont trust biased info.
sounds more like your being stubborn, let her do her job, and if that means filling heads with lies so be it. ykno what she says is false, but she gets paid for that, so just make both your lives easier and let it slideeeee.
