purple stems

    my seedlings stems are getting pretty purple just the stems to the fan leaves, its not really a big as to their test plants, but im thinking ive read its a magnesium def. which can be cured by epsomsalts, if im worng please tell me what could caus this, or is it genetic they havent really had ant nutes yet,
    any input is greatly appreciated

    How old are they? Yes mag def can be cure with epsom salts, but that might not be the problem.
