Purple Stems And Leaves Standing Up

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by PiffsburghKid, May 13, 2014.

  1. First go with rockwool. Started with 2" then moved to 4". They are random strains so I know it can't be genetics. I used r.o. water ph of 6 with no nutes. Did I hurt my babies by not giving them food? They are under a 4' two bulb t5 light with a heat mat and humidity dome. Any help would be awesome!

  2. The one stem looks weak...others are purple...wtf did I do lol. Never had this problem in soil.

    they look fine dude..

maybe a little stretchy.. but the leaves and stems look just fine.

and you did the right thing not giving them food..

  4. I don't see a problem. Weak stems are fixed with a light breeze and purple stems will change back to green as they grow. Prop up the skinny ones with a skewer or toothpick.

  5. Its pretty warm here today around 83 with a breeze, bright sunny so I put them on the best window sill I have with the window open for some fresh air. They actually do seem to be doing better. Fresh growth is all green. Thanks guys. Ill post some new pics in a week or so.
