Purple Stalks?

  1. I have two healthy plants growing under two 48" fluorescents at an average temp. of 70-75 degrees. The humidity is around 30-40 percent(low obviously), and they are getting nice and bushy.
But my plants stems are beginning to turn purplish, and I'm not sure why. I have pictures in my profile of them before they turned purple. They still appear to be healthy, but I am wondering if this si normal. Hit me up.

  2. Its normal bro. They'll be straight. I dont recall a single plant i've grown indoors that didn't have purple/redish stems and stalk.

  3. Haha, like this?

Some strains (like the kush from this year) have purple genetics for the stem, and won't even have purple buds...

  4. It could be genetics, cool temps or magnesium deficiency. I wouldn't worry unless the plant looks otherwise stressed.
