purple haze?

    My dealer contacted me and told me about his new re up which he said was purple haze. This is a new dealer that I know from my old dealer who recently got busted. Long story short, I don't know if I trust the guy and I have never heard of this purple haze in my lifetime outside of Jimi Hendrix. So is this strain legit? I never smoke purple and the last time I did was in 2008 so I want to know for sure before i pick up an ounce or two. This might be in the wrong section, I have been smoking for a long time and I just made a thread here since I am new to the GC community.

    I heard purple haze was a dead strain...and when people refer to it, it's normally just a purplish colored weed. could be wrong tho.

    Keep in mind though, not all purple haze will be a deep, dark purple like on that site. There are some phenos that have mostly green buds, with only hints of purple.

    I think purple haze as hendrix spoke about it was a reference to the LSD batch released at whatever concert or festival he was playing

    Ever since I was a little kid and heard the song, I always wanted to know if it was a strain or not. Are you sure it was LSD?
