Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

Purple grow

    Hey guys this is one of my buddies grows. This is his first grow and I want to see what everyone thinks. Any input would be appreciated.

    He tells me his strain is just called Purple. Cool.



    Specs of Grow room.
    3.5 x 5 x 8 ft
    2 fans: One oscillating fan above the tops of the plant, and one 6 inch duct fan, venting the lights heat out of the closet.

    The temp is at a 75-78. Humidity is at 50-55%.

    He is in week 3, entering the 4th week of flowering. He is using nutes, but i cant remember which ones.. Tiger bloom? Big bud? I know he has those, just not if hes using them.

    The pots are 5 gallons, and the soil is an organic soil.

    He has a 400 watt hps with a heat shield, and of course, mylar on the walls.

    The thirsty ladies drink everyday, i believe 36 oz each.

    actually the mylar isnt up yet. My very big mistake. Im really stoned, i got some gods gift from the cannabis club. :smoking:

    tell him to stop trimming the fan leaves, he's reducing his potential yield considerably.

    I agree, the sun leaves are like little sugar factories. Even if they look like they are blocking a substantial amount of light dont cut them off. They suck up a lot light required for photosynthesis creating sugar (glucose) making the plant grow. Leave em on, or if its necessary you move them, try bending them somewhere. Cmon these are your ladies.

    Otherwise lookin good, you may get 2-3 zips if you dont ruin it from here on out. Keep using your nutes. Big bud will be SWEET when you start usin it if you havent yet.
