Pulp magazines

  1. Collecting these magazines is a growing obsession for me. I started out with Weird Tales, which was a horror/science fiction magazine. I moved on to Spicy Western Stories, which was a western pulp (obviously) with sexual overtones. Then I started getting into the hero pulps with characters like Operator 5, a CIA-type guy before the CIA was around; The Spider, who was a playboy vigilante like Batman, but years before Batman was created; and most recently Doc Savage, who was a guy trained from birth to be the smartest, most athletic man on Earth.

This is my collection right now, but I have two more magazines on their way any day now.

Anybody else ever read pulp magazines?

  2. Nah but I watched pulp fiction a few times.
