I'm new to this site and joined because I wanted a place to post when I got bored during vacation from work... but anyways, I recently was pulled over the day before today and would like to share with you all.. I live in San Francisco, and my friend and I were just leaving the weed club where I purchase "medical marijuana". This club was in the North Beach district, so since it's very pleasing to the eyes, we decided to stop and smoke a blunt before we were on our way to the Ingleside Heights district of the city (across town). We finished smoking, and since I was high I didn't want to take the freeway so we took the scenic route instead, which for me was basically cruising down Van Ness street (one of the busiest streets in the city.. scenic tho)... to cut this short I appearantly had a busted tail light so a cop flagged me down, he asked "where da weed at" and I told him I had less than an eigth. My boy on the other hand had about an ounce and one eigth. They made us step out and they frisked us and made us sit down at the bus stop.. u know the whole 9. They radioed back and searched the car AND the trunk but to my surprise found nothing of interest, even though I had a weed gas mask and a RooR bong in the back! Fortunately I DID have my medical marijuana card, which let us off the hook. He still coulda got me for DUI, and my friend for having weed without proper representation for it, but he didn't. Guess SFPD is finally shaping up to these weed laws after all.....
Yep, they decriminalized in SF about 2 months ago. weeds the lowest on the police's interests now. EDIT-Post 420! w00t.
man you are so lucky to live in SF the cops are so leniant on bud espcially since you have a card to smoke. wow still what a shitty thing to happen to you christmas eve.
I usually never get searched when I get pulled over and its illegal for them to search without probable cause so I never leave anything in sight that could give them the right to search me. Only time they did was when I dropped someone at a stop sign but they were the one buying, I only had a bag a shake and got fucked over. Last xmas I got pulled over in daytona going like 30 over the speed limit. the cop just asked me to slow down and to have a safe and happy holiday.
Oh and to those wondering if they left the weed, they did.... including the 2cm doobie my friend had on his lap when they initially came.... Funny thing about the entire experience was that they pulled me over for a busted tail light.... and it turns out my tail light was never busted in the first place
