  1. Is it just me or are they really chill, down to earth, warm people? Maybe they just can read me so well, and know exactly how to interact with me......I don't know.

  2. From my experience, people who study psych are always the most fucked up and least able to see their own issues.

  3. lol ya, that's must be why we get along!!! i think alot of people start taking psych classes wanting to know why they're so fucked up. lol

  4. I like my psych professors. Then again, my mom is a social worker and I argue with her all the time

It varies just like any other field probably, we just like to try to explain it because it is after all the subject of the field.

Btw wenahaone, you have 2121 posts at the time of this post. Awesome.

  5. that's not exactly true, at all. how can you just categorize people into one profession?

  6. How many psych majors do you know? 2? 3?
I study government and psychology, I don't really have many issues. I've hung around many psychologists and psych majors and most of them are just people that are fascinated by the mind and learning the subtleties of how people work

  7. well, my intro to counseling teacher is kind of a little bitch boy that I don't really like and he tries to be funny and I wanna spit in his face, so I guess they aren't always really cool people.

well, all the others have been really nice(I guess he is too. I just don't like him), and this one lady prof was seriously bangin'.:yummy::yummy::yummy::yummy::yummy::yummy:

This quote reminded me of the movie Goodwill Hunting. I think that's what it's called

I'm studing Psychology; think I may continue to become a Psychology Professor. Not entirely sure yet. Nonetheless I'm generally just interested in society and people, not in my own personal, psychological faults. Can't even argue because I've come to the realization that everyone has "thier own issues" and ways to resolve them, depends on the person and thier insight on life - not what they study.

  10. Psych majors come in two varieties:

    1. People who are fascinated by the human mind.
    2. Dipshits who want an easy major and are smart enough to do the only thing that psych majors have to do, which is read articles and textbooks and apply that information to papers. Oh, and do maybe a handful of social experiments before graduating.
