Pruning roots before transplant..while in preflower

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by bguwop420, Aug 5, 2023.

  1. Looking to go from a 3 gallon to a 5 gallon...right now this plant is about 42 inches in a 3 gallon fabric pot...worried about it getting rootbound ..was told that it will still flower out just with a lesser yield. Should I cut/knock off some of the bottom of the root ball when I'm about to transplant? Really ain't trying to fucj this plant up

  2. Cannabis HATES having its roots messed with. For a stress-free transplant disturb as few roots as possible.

  4. going from 3 to 5 is not hardly worth it at this point go for a 7 or ten or just leave alone IMO also Mycos powder does wonders and either way the plant will survive just dont flip to flower for minimum 3 weeks after transplant

  9. I read that the roots don't grow as much during flower so it should be alright
