Hi this is my first grow and had a question I just topped my plant 1 day ago and were i topped it it is slightly brown is this normal when should my plant be healed from topping
yeh can happen and as plantman says if you,ve new growth then no probs. and it will heal in a week-10 days
Sweet thank you for the quick answers i was also wondering if there are any traits in the plant that i can tell if its female before its starts to flower
once it reaches sexual Maturity. it Should* start to have preflowers, but this isnt always the case and at that point you'd have to Induce Flowering, if it's only 1 plant, then just flip the switch and see wether you have a Female or male, if it's more than 1 plant and you dont wanna switch them all at once, Take a Decent sized cutting place it in a Cup of water, and put it in a room with a 12/12 lighting schedual. it should show preflowers within a week or two. by then your plant you took the cutting off of has healed and started new growth. usually growers will do this with a plant they plan to use as a mother plant to use for clones without inducing the entire plant into flowering. because once a plant has been induced into flowering, the hormone levels change, and you cant re-veg it after it's been in flowering for awhile without some serious Hermi Risk.
