Hey all fellow growers/tokers! I finished my other grow so, I am startin' my new gj. Upgrades- 1-I put up a new tent, 4 x 4 x 7, which gives me 6" more height, and this tent has much better reflectivity. And no light leaks along the seams, so in my closet it blends in with the background. 2-I upgraded my ducting to insulated kind, much quieter air flow. 3-I bought a lightly used Diamond 1000 watt MH/HPS ballast, this will be less noisy and cooler. The Plan- Growin' 4 girls, in waterfarms, all modified, and coco/hydroton mix for medium. I have 2-DNA Connie Chung, 1-Reserve Privada OG Kush #18, and 1-Reserve Privada X 18. The healthiest 2/4 seedlings will go in waterfarms under the 1000 watter. I have 2-DP White Widow and 2-Sagrmatha Double Bubbleberry, and the healthiest 2/4 will go in waterarms under the 600. Thanks, will be glad to have you!! 3 pics of my grow tent...1st pic is a side shot of the new tent and the insulated ducting I bought, which should help keep airflow noise to a minimum, and also will help my efforts to keep it somewhat stealthy! Also, I did a test run yesterday, and was happy to see that no light leaks anywhere along the seams, so this is why I bought this tent. 2nd pic are the waterfarms, waitin' for some girls to come their way! You can see the reflectivity is better in this new tent. 3rd pic is just a shot of lights/ducting. I thank you all for taggin' along, and all the support, you guys rule! No wake and bake for me...I'm painting my mom and dads bathroom this am., so later on today I will be checkin' all your threads out there. pro
Hey sports fans, update time! I have 2 Connie Chung, 1 X 18, 1 OG Kush #18, 1 White Widow in rrooters. I had 2 BUbbleberry by Sagarmatha not viable (STAY AWAY FROM ALL SAG SEEDS...THEY SUCK). So I put 2 Bluemoonshine seeds on the heating mat. And I did decide to do 5 girls in the tent. Hope you guys are well, pro!
I put the new little seedlings in thier waterfarms, and fed them light nutes. I will veg them for 4 weeks, then flip!! I ended up with 1 DP White Widow, 2 DP Bluemoonshine (both Bmoons are in 1 waterfarm). These are under the 600 watter. Under the 1000 watter, I have 1 DNA Connie Chung, 1 Reserve Privada OG Kush #18, and 1 Reserve Privada Pakistani X 18, each in there own waterfarm. Hey dudes, a little update. I got a notice from my apartment complex sayin they are startin yearly inspections, which I have mine in mid-December, so that means I have to go with a shorter veg time, so after this first seedling week, I will do 2 weeks, b veg, then flip em. Which should have me finishing up in late Nov. or early Dec. The girls are startin' out healthy, so far! Pics this Wed.pro
sounds good pro with that shorter veg you will probobaly not get the max yield that you would have but with all that light those nugs should be huge 1600 watts you are gonna have some really nice stuff I bet. I will be watching for sure. I personally think a shorter veg can be better sometimes expecially if the strain streches alot when you flip the lights my last grow would have done better I think with the shorter veg period. Cant wait to see what they do but I bet your gonna have the biggest buds you have ever grown with that much light. Your last grow you were just running a 600watt right??
Hey stevesgrow! Thanks for stoppin' by my thread! No, I had the 1600 watts in my last grow...I agree with you about the shorter veg time, and I do have some strains that will stretch. So. with a shorter veg and regular flowering period, I will get some dank buds, but with 5 plants, I am not worried about my yield, (I can only gift and smoke so much!!). No problem pro I love to watch and I'm sure there are a ton of lurkers checking your thread just being quiet. So a couple questions for ya. What are the nutes you gonna be using?? And that blue moonshine what is the strain mix of that is it blueberry crossed with something else or what is it?? Is it a strain that will be colorful?? I like the colorful strains they are awsome to watch grow I am hoping to get a journal back up here soon I already got the seeds ordered for the next grow just trying to move to a different and safer location. But I am anticipating somthing in the near future. Everything looking good so far those babies are gonna take off soon for sure.
Hey stevesgrow! I am feeding my little ones, GH base nutes, using the lucas method of just micro and bloom. As they start to flower, I will add bloom additives (using Koolbloom and Floranectar, and the last 2-3 weeks I replace the Koolbloom with Overdrive). I use Cal-Mag and Sensizyme all the way from seed to harvest. Bluemoonshine is Blueberry crossed with OG Kush, and is really strong smoke...with a great taste! I got mine from Dutch Passion. I did grow the Bm out twice, but each time I did I had to end the grow due heat issues in my tent, before I got her dialed in as we say in the growin' game! You can smell the Kush influence in the Bm and also when I grew out Kushberry, they both smell similar! Delicious smellin' strains, IMHO! pro
Sounds like a winner pro so this will be your first harvest on the blue moonshine. I am a lover of the kush so I gotta think its gonna be a nice smoke. I used gh nutes last grow switched to lucas a little after I started flowering but my next run I will do it from the begining. I had never heard of the lucas formula before I was into flowering as it was my first hydro grow but seems how everyone seems to swear by it I gotta go with the rest of you on the next run. I will have to check out your other nute choices I added big bud powder last run but that was it so it will be interesting to see how this helps.
YOU"RE SOOO RIGHT ABOUT THE KUSH!!! Easy to grow, super strong buzz and awesome taste...perfect plant (IMO). My tap water has a natural ph of 7.2, and when I add the GH nutes, my ph goes down to 5.6 to 5.8!! I haven't checked my ph at all the last 2 grows, whiich saves a ton of time doin daily ph checks!! When I still had some DM nutes that I was comparing them to GH brand, I ended up tossin' the last DM because I had to do daily checks on ph in all the DM nute fed ladies. The "set it and forget it" aspect is a godsend to all of us who loathe wastin' precious smokin' time!! I actually was gonna try the HESI coco nutes I purchased, again to see if I saw differences in the growth of my girls, but I am throwing it out as I am dialed on for now!! Sorry for the long winded post, I just smoked my first real WR bud (after 4 day dry and day 8 of cure) .And I must say that it tastes much better than when I ran it last time, a few years ago! And way more potent than the Blueberry Kush and Lemon Skunks! Well, now to satisfy my munchies! Be safe out there, stoners! pro

Hey stevesgrow, sorry been busy with runnin' my business, but here are some pics. First pic is the White Widow, second pic is the 2-Bluemoonshines, and the last pic is the Connie Chung at top right, X18 bottom right, and OG Kush #18 on the left!! These are all growin' "like weeds"!! Easy as pie so far, I flipped them 3 days ago, so I won't count this toward the flowering time until next feed (next Wed.). Yes, stevesgro, I feed them as soon as I put em' in the set ups, and on this past feeding, I gave them all 15ml flora micro, 20ml flora bloom, 10ml sensizyme and 5ml cal-mag. I won't add bloom boosters until I see buds developing! When I do see the buds startin' to come out, then I will start applying HCOs Snow Storm Ultra, which brings out tric development. I will apply the SSU as a foliar spray, and will spray 1 x per week for the first 5-6 weeks flower, and none the end to avoid the dreaded bud rot!! I will be checkin' all your gj's later, amigos!! I am gonna hit the protopipe loaded with hash and Blueberry Kush!! puff, puff, pass to all of my fellow growers and smokers out there!!! pro
Nice!! Those gals did some serious growing since the last time I saw them and nice and healthy too. I like the fatty indica looking leaves I cant wait to see what the buds on the Blue moonshine look like. Keep it up I'm with ya morning bake time some nicely cured jock haze mmmm!! Gets better everytime I open the jar and pull one out hopefull I can get something going here before I run out.

The 1 Bluemoonshine is a real keeper, but since I have to tear everything down after this grow, I will not be able to make her a mom. I really enjoy the variety that I can get from growin' from seed with 4-5 different strains. Hope your jock haze gets you where you need to go, bro! pro

Hey BudSlinger, thanks for the input on the bm!! I already flipped the lights on Wed., because I have a yearly apt inspection in mid-December sometime, that was just started this year with new management here! So I have to have em chopped by the first week in December. So the Widow and X-18 are gettin chopped at week 8, with the "official count not starting for a full week after I flipped them. The Connie Chung will go either 8 or 9, and the Bluemoonshines will go 9 and so will the OG Kush #18. I went in my tent and they grew amazingly overnight, with the other girls all catchin' the bigger BM, its so much more fun growin' in the cooler weather, plants look happier, IMO! Hope all you smokers/growers are havin' a nice pipe full right no! pro
