Propranolol false positive on a drug test?

Discussion in 'General' started by Smirtdish, Jul 1, 2012.

  1. I was wondering if propranolol (Inderal) can come up on a drug test as Amphetamines. I've heard this from a few places, but I want to make sure. I'm prescribed to it, and I don't want it to come up on a drug test as a false positive. Thanks guys.

  2. Pretty sure this is against the rules. Would have a better chance finding the answer at erowid.

  3. When you go in for a drug test, inform them of all medicine you take, both over the counter and prescription. A lot of stuff can trigger false positives for other stuff.

  4. i'll delete the question to be safe. thanks.

  5. I think this is ok as long as he's prescribed it, not like he came on here like up I popped a vyvanse and afraid it will come up as meth!!

No he came on here asking a responsible question.

And to answer your question OP, it's possible but inform them and even bring the pill bottle to be safe to prove that you are actually prescribed. If that doesn't work then get a note from your doc. Hope all works well for you.
