Properly spacing lights and plants...

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Chasefacegrowsbass, Sep 17, 2023.

  1. Basically,i'm looking for advice. I have an outdoor plant that i've moved indoors. Seems to be taking pretty well to the lights.. I have 2 100 watt led panels, and a 50 watt led panel I'm using for side lighting. The plant is about 4 Weeks into flower. She's about 4 ft tall. Looking for advice on how to properly set up my plants and lights. To use the Grow space as efficiently as possible for this single plant.

  2. I'm a newbie still at the seedling stage but all I can tell you is that I noticed moving plants from the outside to the inside isn't a very good idea, pretty sure my plants got light burns, and they were sagging, the stem turned purple too so for the next time try not to move them, again just some things I've noticed, I'm growing in a greenhouse so that's about all the help I can give you

  3. My plant took very well to the light. It's been inside for about two weeks now.

  4. Not to be rude.sorry I just didn't have that luxury. Security issues

  5. to properly set up the light and plants I'd check your led lights site for info
best advice I offer is to rotate the plants daily, this ensures come harvest that all the trics are glowing at roughly the same latitude on the plant like apples on a tree not all apples ripen at once I'm also for sequentially harvesting photo plants for the same reason.
take all the buds at harvest half way up the trunk, the other harvest, lower truck in 2 weeks time

a $5.00 Loup'e (25x) does wonders to pick the trics at the desired color

    cheers

its just about impossible to give cannabis 'light burn'
the wilting leaves could well be transplant shock, keep them in dim light until recovered.

the stem and fan leaves will turn dark red/purple even blue due to wind burn from a fan to close or a chilly night outside, see it as the sap stalling, keep a temp gauge close by

tho some strains are breed for the red flower giggle, grand daddy purple is one

    cheers

  7. Thank for the info brother. Have a nice evening.

  8. Suggest you make a new post about that you just said . Its not why you had the issue bring them indoors .

  9. Just to to clarify . Are you saying light burn with indoor lighting is about impossible ?

  10. I'm not very sure about anything yet, I'll go outside and take some pics with my 300€ phone so I hope you'll be able to see, at the end of leaves they get a little white and seem to be receding but they have healed since and it's barely noticeable

  11. more soil to the rim will make an even bigger rootball, makes a bigger plant, makes more flowers, and makes more toke!

  12. Bigger pots 5 gallon min. 100 max lol. Really no need to go bigger then a 50 gallon outside . Some people will go 100.

  14. Put a few bags of soil in the ground . Put your plant directly into the ground . . Higher dirt around the plant water drains off .. No pot needed. In my area the dirt outside has a lot of sand in it . It wont get soggy. I want to get some plants going again .Something small 2 or so . Will see . Im sure i can do just 2 plants somebody would water them when im away. ill make a post if i do. First ever small grow inside a store bought tent . Exciting . Yeah 12 pound lift limit. BS.

This is what I’m getting out of a 5gal pot outdoor experiment LOL…The amount of upkeep though is a part time job. I’m expecting 1.5-2lbs dried. They have about 2-3 weeks left. Going to use 20gal next spring.

  18. I did order a 4 foot by 8 foot and 8 foot height tent . Bigger tent will be perfect for the family room sitting on the back wall. Winter is coming . I need some sort of sun shining .

  19. Looks so healthy, wow great job! Looks like your gonna generate some nice yield.
