Its pretty much like a big lighter, it no longer forms a pointed cone, just a big flame. I've got just a cheap torch from canadian tire, blue bottle, with an angled brass nozzle, What exactly happened, how can i fix this?
Sounds like the tip is damaged you may want to replace it or take it back like Dark cloud said. Also if the tip is damaged it may be because your are sticking it to close to the object to your heating and bending/breaking the cone which will over time damage the tip.
