  1. If we consider voting as a civil liberty in a "democratic" republic, then this dialogue fits the topic. Also the fact that the super rich oligarchs know which politicians will be supporting their greedy, dark, corporate agenda... they INTIMIDATE those who are not "with their program" by bombarding the airwaves with millions of dollars of negative bashing TV ads... Seems they fork over much more for intimidation of those who won't vote their way than bribes to those who will buckle under...

    Some interesting information revealed in this recent video. The bottom line is, the only choices we the ppl are left with on election day are the pawns of the oligarchs as they have paid the networks very well to defame anyone "not with their program"... No wonder more than half the ppl don't even bother to vote & both parties often feel there is no choice, both candidates are creepy hand picked liars be it for big pharma, war games, assault rifles, big agriculture, Monsanto, oh & yes BIG PETROLEUM..
    -------------------------------

    There are 26 registered lobbyists for every elected representative on the hill, with experts suggesting the true amount is closer to 100,000. Yet transparency laws that people believe help combat this system of pay-to-play politics have been weaponized against them to further cement corporate control. Congressional researcher James D’Angelo argues how the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1970, which opened up politicians voting records–has only helped special interests and corporations.

  3. Man Svedka, your eyes are open, I just don't understand why you think socialism (more centralized power) is the answer...

  4. Not only are we bombarded by propaganda from those elected to govt. office by the corporate oligarchy so called free republic capitalists but... those duped by said propaganda from both parties, yes NEO so called DEMOCRATS as well...

    They get a wild hair up where sun never shines (unless they spread their cheeks on a nude beach) then start spouting on twitter... this attracts AI - BOTS to pile in with, to coin a tRUMP term, "FAKE ACCOUNTS"... the radical "populist" right is always quick to accuse Twitter of being against them or allowing all of these fake accounts be they from Russia or part of 45's underground A team... Well here is a case where some nut job be she a Democrat supporting the corrupt oligarchy or whatever who gets called out due to either being as dumb as Sarah Huck-Sanders or actually knowing of these fake accounts and bots ahead of time...

    How A Twitter Fight Over Bernie Sanders Revealed A Network Of Fake Accounts
    One Democratic Party consultant said an unnamed client controlled many of these accounts.

    When Russians at the Internet Research Agency interfered in U.S. politics, they created false online personas and fake political groups to amplify divisive messages that already had a homegrown American audience. It’s not too far from what some U.S. political consultants are doing themselves.

    Take Sally Albright, a Democratic Party communications consultant who backed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016. Unsurprisingly, Albright is vocally opposed to President Donald Trump and a big supporter of the resistance to his administration. She is also one of the loudest, most divisive voices attacking Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Clinton’s onetime Democratic primary opponent, and his left-wing supporters.

    Well after the primary, Albright continues to claim that Sanders is a fraud, a liar, racist and corrupt, among many other things. In one instance she declared that the policy idea of free college, as promoted by Sanders, was racist. This provoked Sanders supporters to argue back.

    Trevor, a Sanders supporter who declined to provide his last name for fear of being doxxed, but goes by @likingonline on Twitter, noticed a strange pattern of behavior when Albright responded to him. Her tweets addressing him were rapidly retweeted by the same series of accounts. This created a barrage of notifications making it look as though there was an avalanche of opposition to everything he said.

    But as Trevor discovered, after an extensive amount of research that he posted online, these were not normal accounts. They appeared to be bots ― automated accounts masked as real people being used to amplify a particular political message. Who is really pulling the strings, however, remains a mystery.

    Albright told HuffPost that the accounts were voluntarily handed over by their original users to an unnamed client of hers to be automated in “an analytics program.” She said she was bound by a non-disclosure agreement and could not disclose who was collecting and automating these accounts or for what purpose.

    But like her, these accounts were all pro-Clinton, anti-Trump and anti-Sanders.

    Does “free college” specifically benefit women and minorities? Does it benefit anyone who isn’t already going to college and just doesn’t want to pay? Reinforcing the status quo is racist.

    Twitter allows users to automate their accounts, including setting up automatic retweeting and liking of other accounts. This increases activity on the platform, something Twitter obviously wants to do, and allows busy users to promote messages or businesses that they support. Presumably Twitter did not anticipate that users would simply hand their accounts over to another person or campaign to artificially spread the latter’s tweets.

    The ability to swamp a debate with automated messages is a problem for political discourse around the world. Twitter is a vital platform for political debate. Automating Twitter accounts to retweet or otherwise promote specific messages thus becomes a tactic to silence political debate and squelch free speech.

    In Mexico, allies of President Enrique Peña Nieto have deployed swarms of Twitter bots to overwhelm and effectively shut down online debates. Journalists in the U.S. experienced a similar flood during the 2016 election from pro-Trump, neo-Nazi sock-puppet accounts posting anti-Semitic death threats. Often instead of suppressing speech it doesn’t like, the Chinese government these days drowns it on local social media platforms with a flood of pro-government content. University of North Carolina scholar Zeynep Tufecki has labeled this tactic a new form of censorship.

    What the automated accounts deployed by Albright’s unnamed client did was similar.

    Over the course of the last year or so, Albright was their favorite account to retweet ― almost always as a group. The fake accounts also retweeted people who responded to Albright’s tweets ― again, usually as a group, and often while in a debate with other users.

    The writers at Shareblue, a pro-Democratic Party news site that supported Clinton in the primary and general elections, were also frequently retweeted by the network of fake accounts, particularly when the Shareblue folks had something negative to say about Sanders. A spokeswoman for Shareblue told HuffPost that the company does not create sock-puppet accounts and has never worked with Albright.

    These accounts also liked #resistance celebrities like liberal conspiracy theorist Eric Garland (“Time for some game theory”) and Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe. And they were often deployed in intra-Democratic Party battles.

    When Albright led a Twitter campaign to attack a 2017 women’s conference for inviting Sanders to speak ― after Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) had turned them down ― the automated account network deployed to retweet her and any positive responses to her tweets.

    Albright probably didn’t need those retweets, as there were actual people opposing the conference’s decision. Still, someone questioned her campaign to block Sanders from speaking, describing it as similar to “Russian division strategy.” She wrote back, “Nyet. I am not Russian.”

    Then over a dozen fake accounts retweeted her.

  5. Some interesting information from a former CIA member. This is part 1 or at least 3 parts. I'm into part 2 now and it keeps getting better. Not soliciting a conversation personally but felt it's rather timely given current ongoing events.

    Kevin Shipp gives a bi-partisan delivery of information much of which can be fact checked with a little research. His message spares no side, no party and no individual. The Shadow Govt. is outlined as well as how it differs from the Deep State which many blades including potus 45 supporters believe exist.

    Brief outline is:

    Shadow Govt. "the currency they use to control includes"
    * Secrecy
    * Fear
    * Intimidation

    Deep State "currency " is:
    * Money
    * Power
    * Greed

    (Video was uploaded last month and has CC.) Also a lot of comments so those who find it provoking may want to post comments on Youtube more than this thread which is here as a reference for those interested in digging beneath lame stream media and what the politicians are allowed to say.

    A little aside for those calling ME a propagandist lol... Even a glimmer of sanity and honesty coming from Faux News... problem with Faux is they are so blatantly 1 sided to the right & far radical right imo... on the other hand the Lt Col. could be either duped or covering up the deep state himself as he mentioned their scaremongering warnings about the "deep state"... whatever, it's TV drama at it's finest designed to keep the ppl distracted from real boots on the ground issues here in the lower 48...

    Fox News analyst quits, calling network ‘propaganda machine’ for Trump

    “Today, I feel that Fox News is assaulting our constitutional order and the rule of law, while fostering corrosive and unjustified paranoia among viewers,“ he said in the email, which was obtained by Buzzfeed. “Over my decade with Fox, I long was proud of the association. Now I am ashamed.”

    “When prime-time hosts — who have never served our country in any capacity — dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on the FBI, the Justice Department, the courts, the intelligence community . . . all the while scaremongering with lurid warnings of “deep-state” machinations — I cannot be part of the same organization. . . . To me, Fox News is now wittingly harming our system of government for profit.”

    Peters specializes in Russia analysis, and was harshly critical of former President Barack Obama’s foreign policy. But he said Fox News hosts “now advance Putin’s agenda” and that “we have an American president who is terrified of his counterpart in Moscow.”

    Peters made a special effort to single out Fox Business, to which he said the criticisms do not apply, and to the hard-news reporters at Fox, “who continue to do their best as talented professionals in a poisoned environment.”

    In a statement Tuesday, Fox News said: “Ralph Peters is entitled to his opinion despite the fact that he’s choosing to use it as a weapon in order to gain attention.”

    Some rush to judgement without actually researching facts presented in this topic... to be expected, grenade throwers with one liners to disrupt the flow of valuable insightful information aka "inconvenient truth"...

    There is a part II after the video in post #45 highly recommended for those who dare and can handle the truth... otherwise we i assume they are fine with trusting the CIA... human nature is to resist waking up if the awakening appears rude however that's what it takes after decades of deep programming by the deep state and shadow government... and those who support potus 45 should know that he too believes in this programming and propaganda by both... yet they find it hard to swallow if a constitutionalist like myself for example mentions it...

  10. The welfare warfare state cannot exist without elastic currency. The only form of peaceful protest is boycott and with elastic currency boycott is not an option, they just stick you with the bill anyway because everyone implied consent.

  15. i agree for the most part but if you are using the word "currency" in the traditional sense and not as is used for the shadow and deep states, we CAN choose where and what we spend said currency for. Voting with $$ seems to be more effective than going to the polls as we don't even have control over which candidates attain notoriety, let alone get on the ticket... Big $$ does that for us behind the scenes for the average Duck Dynasty type voter. For example investing in SRI's "Socially Responsible Investing" type ETF's companies and the like. Using locally member owned co-ops "Credit Unions" and less on the big banks, supporting local businesses and less on Amazon, Walmart, etc.... Hard to do however for those on a tight budget, the giants have them by the balls and are squeezing out the competition...

  16. My take is that it is due to the fact that most of us are working from the lower chakras, the majority vibrating on survival as if the physical body was their only identity, they defend it as if it will last forever as long as they have their rifles, basement or bomb shelter full of food, etc.

    That and the ego loves a soap opera, digging down beyond the conceptual illusions from decades of home grown propaganda takes way more energy (mental) than most have available these days... they prefer to just vote for which ever candidate appears to defend their own little survivalist world, then get back to the 6 pack, NFL, "reality" TV (supporting their own delusions of normal)... you know, they want to fit in with the rest of the dumbed down dead beat rank and file... (been there, done that, know that warm & fuzzy feeling)...

  19. We can't choose where it's spent that's the ruse...your team goes "ra ra" and my team goes bla bla and the illusion of choice is projected.... Once You give up property rights in currency it's up to your designated fiduciary agent... You are differentiating between "currency" that we use everyday and that which the "deepstate" uses. This ain't no conspiracy....theres legal tender and lawful money in the US code. Lawful money is what the Fed uses for "reserves" and legal tender is what you use to pay taxes. The two used to be the same but theyre not anymore. Deepstate uses liquidity, cash; legal tender...It's a really old game.

    Awesome and i agree. I thing people will vote for their survivalist world be it free rights or "rights" to food, shelter ect...I think a forest does not exist. It's imaginary and only consists of individual trees and that humans are social like wolves and not bees....im sure we might disagree here, most socialist part ways with me here but when we start to objectively examine what we both deplore, the warfare crony capitalist backslash corporate agenda, and the root cause of it then suddenly we agree.
