I wish to prove to you that there exists a unicorn. To do this it obviously suffices to prove the (possibly) stronger statement that there exists an existing unicorn. (By an existing unicorn I of course mean one that exists.) Surely if there exists an existing unicorn, then there must exist a unicorn. So all I have to do is prove that an existing unicorn exists. Well, there are exactly two possibilities: (1) An existing unicorn exists. (2) An existing unicorn does not exist. Possibility (2) is clearly contradictory: How could an existing unicorn not exist? Just as it is true that a blue unicorn is necessarily blue, an existing unicorn must necessarily be existing.

existence is only a matter of whether or not you exist. see i dont care if a unicorn exists any more than the unicorn cares if I exist. but if i was to say that an existing unicorn exists, then i would have to ask myself this: Does my existence provide the existential possibility of an existing unicorn to exist? if no then it really answers nothing. but if so then still it proves nothing. but lets speculate on this existing unicorn. Does it Exist? in the imagination, yes. but maybe if you think about the matrix, like in the second one when the Oracle is telling Neo that when you see a ghost or something, that is a program assymilating something its not supposed to be doing, i.e. vampires, warewolves, and ghosts. but who is to say that there is a program that runs the force of nature that assymilates the unicorn. now its not really existing, because maybe you can see it, and touch it, but its not really there. but if its not really there then it cant exist. so how do you now for sure if it exists?

no, i was not baked when i made this thread...that's generally the problem it's a paradox i found and liked....i'm sarcastic, so is this this is all you really need to take into account (1) An existing unicorn exists. (2) An existing unicorn does not exist. Possibility (2) is clearly contradictory: How could an existing unicorn not exist? It doesn't necessarily prove that unicorns are real or exist, but if one does it can't not exist, duh
But then again, the sq root of a negative number does not exist, it is imaginary. So, An existing unicorn that does not exist= an imaginary unicorn!
