First post ever, so sorry in advance if i screw this up. I've recently started a 2 plant grow and bought This light And this power cord My understanding is that CFL's dont need a ballast, as many things with a mogul socket do. Anyway, I plug it in, light fits the socket perfectly, but nothing at all happens. Am I missing something obvious, got a defective cord maybe? Any help is appreciated
I did the same thing a while back, invested like 60$ altogether and they just wouldn't work, I think ( and I may be wrong ) there are 2 types of big cfl's, self ballasted, and regular, I think we got the regular
