Probably Just A Dumb Question

  1. Recently ( past month or so ) I have been smoking as usual, I smoke about half the week usually, during that week I smoke usually a quarter or a quarter + an eighth in about 4 days with another person. Mainly from a glass bong. I'm trying to avoid getting the "Just smoke more" answers. I feel like my high isn't like most highs, I mean I get the "High" feeling. This may be a stereotypical example. But I want to be the kind of
    High were you can talk about something for hours, or just do anything and it's wicked fun. Lately i just get some laughs right after I smoke. Then it's kind of a dull high somewhat of a headache but not that bad. Just sort of an irritant. I'm also wondering if it's because I usually smoke out of a bong? Would other types of smoking change the outcome? Experienced tokers please reply :)

    TL;DR: I want to experience the laugh at everything and talk about anything for hours kind of high I stopped feeling about a month ago. I mainly use a bong to smoke.
     
  2. Switching up your toking tool could help, maybe make some edibles or hash.
     
  3. I'm not an experienced toker anymore, but it sounds like someone needs a t-break.

  6. I have the same problem you have and I hate it. What's a t-break? I want to experience the same thing I smoke all day and still can achieve it.

  7. Tolerance break, it means no smoke for however long you want to let your tolerance go down.

    Though if a heavy smoker first day or two is gonna be boring, and might have a little trouble getting to sleep or getting hungry.

  8. Honestly take a 1-2 week off every now and then an it should keep your tolerance decent. That's the way I do it, but I probably burn just an eighth a week, not as much as you.
     
  9. T-Break, like everyone else is saying. 
    If you've been smoking for long exclusively with the same piece, use a friends or get a new one. I swear it makes a difference :)
     
    Oh and what I do when I order a piece online, I don't smoke until it arrives. Then I get a short T break, and I get to toke out of a brand new piece which I've never tried before. Like try different percs 
     
  10. I've smoked for 25 years always in joints it never changes for me I love the high. U can try having a little break or u may need to put a little more in.

    not alot of people know that I don't know that, but I bloody well don't!
     
  11. I don't smoke in the morning while I go to school and all I can think about is smoking. I mainly smoke in the morning for anxiety and depression and I feel that when I smoke I enjoy my life and those around me more. Like I don't have the thousand things in my head that make me anxious or depress. It all goes away and I can enjoy my day. So break seems possible but harsh. I kind of don't want to take a break for what makes my life better but I do want to experience that "I can hear colors" high

  13. Yeah man everyone here is right about the T break. As for the headaches, it is possible that you could have seeds in your bud but I doubt that as you seem like a pretty seasoned toker haha.

  14. A t break will always help but also it's good to put yourself in the proper mindset. Maybe you've gotten bored with the same old routine, staying active while high leads to more enjoyment for me. I also feel like sometimes I get into a slump and my sessions aren't as enjoyable as they should be. To me, that means something's conflicting with your vibe and sometimes it's as easy to fix as mixing up your activities/finding that happy place again for yourself.
    Plus all that after a t break will blow your mind.
