This is completely ridiculous. I'm 25 years old and I have graduated from college while being on the Dean's list the entire time, and I am holding a stable job as well as being happily married. My parents made a surprise visit to my home last night to ask about Thanksgiving since they've obviously never heard of a phone. My bong was on my table, so there was no use lying about it. I told them I smoke and if I could've captured their faces it would be worth infinite amounts of money. They threatened to call the police on me for my own good if I didn't quit, so obviously I promised them I would quit. Are they even allowed to do this? This is such bullshit. I tried explaining that if I'm holding a job and supporting my household with a lot of money left over then it wasn't bad, and I even tried showing them The Union. They told me to stop making excuses and that I needed to quit before I moved on to harder drugs. Any advice?

Lol tell them you quit, don't quit, live a double life. Cops aren't going to go through getting a warrant to search your house to find what like a half ounce and a couple of bongs? Because I don't want law enforcement involved in my life. That would ruin absolutely everything I've worked my entire life to get to. Are they even legally allowed to do that?

Your not going to jail regardless lol But the police would need probable cause. If they show up at your door they're going to need a search warrant if they even want to step in side. It's the lowest of their priorities
