Really the only reason I even started this thread was I got banned from a political discussion thread because I didn't agree with a bunch of crybabies?????? I am abit tired of hearing a person having to say I'm sorry over political correction.. about everything and over everything... From the classes, these off the wall professors teach and preach their political beliefs in a place that should be open to debates,,, yet they want to do away with the first amendment,,, if you don't agree... Kind of like Grass City did to me......... People that enjoy life dealt them on the blood of some of my friends and kin in past wars ........ It does really bother me to see people disrespect the American Flag.... I don't care what your politics are.. Disrespecting that flag disrespects all the blood that's been shed for it.... And believe it or not,,, even the 'kids' that are out there disrespecting that flag,,, lost some close, close family fighting for it...... They do their family's dead a great honor... But I do know they wood be embarrassed as hell confronting with their actions to those lost members.... Socialism come on ?????????? Fuck...... Still is America....
I don't agree with disrespecting the flag either, but the blood that has been spilled for good and bad representing that flag allows them to disrespect it if they so choose. People have died protecting their rights to do so. We don't have to like it or agree with it, but I celebrate the fact that they can do that. They may not be embarrassed at all. I served in the military. My brother still does. Our father did, uncles have, cousins. You name it. Always remember, actions have consequences. Because people are free to disrespect the flag, say things they choose to say, there will always be consequences and repercussions to those things. So while they are protected, they are not without risk. Yes, universities are a place of unabashed nonsense these days, but some of the failure of the kids these days fall squarely on that of the parents. It's too easy to blame schools for that. Things like that happen because people stay quiet, afraid to stand for something. So what you get is what you're discussing now. Society is crazy, fun, interesting, disheartening, and sometimes just down right stupid.
