Prickly Pear Syrup

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by chalupas, Jan 26, 2011.

  1. I've heard of the benefits of Molasses, and recently I've heard great things about Agave syrup, leading me to wonder about Prickly Pear Syrup. Supposedly it's got a ton of beneficial things for humans, I'm guessing there's some beneficial plant stuff in there too, but I have no clue. Anyone have any info on this?
  2. chalupas,

Try to use prickly pear nectar if you can find it. While the prickly pear syrup could be used as a carbohydrate source for a compost tea, the syrups are generally made with regular sugar and prickly pear juice.

Prickly pear nectar is typically 99% pure with it's own sugars and is a better choice.
