Preserving cricket test

  1. I attempted to preserve a cricket in wax by throwing it into hot liquid candle wax with the wick lit. Over time, it did not burn or melt, it stayed perfect conditions until it imploded. I presume the implosion was caused by the broiling insides of the cricket, within the protected outer shell, the continuous heat buildup broke the threshold. I'm high.
